*SOLVED*String/Text not updating...

Hello all!

So my issue is as follows.

When using the text effect (or any effect, for that matter, that contains a text box in its settings) and I change the string in the text box, it doesn't update on the preview. I've tried pressing enter/return, and tab, but nothing seems to work.

I am running 2.4 on lion.

Pressing return should do it.. Do any other settings changes take?

Hi there.
Yes, every other kind of setting works/updates as soon as I change it. It's just any setting that uses a text box that doesn't work.

Can you check console.app for any messages when you try to change the text settings?

I checked Console. It shows a few lines (pasted below) once CamTwist opens, but doesn't show anything regarding changing a string/text box in CamTwist.

I don't know much about Console.app, but is it okay that it says CTImg2.1 and CTImg2.0? Should it say 2.4, or is that unrelated?

Just so you should know:
I tried installing CamTwist onto my brother's macbook, and it worked just fine. So now I'm fully uninstalling cam twist, and will try to reinstall.
Okay, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled, and that did nothing...

***SOLVED***

Turned out the issue was caused by my stupidity...

I created a shortcut for the return/enter key and made it exclusive to studio cut. The text issue was solved by getting rid of this shortcut.
