CamTwist only one webcam per session?

I've just installed CamTwist 2.4 again, I had it installed before my last reinstall and it worked great.

This time, I've setup both my iSight and my Logitech QuickCam 9000, and when I start CamTwist, which ever camera I select first is the only one I can use for that session. If I try selecting the other one it doesn't switch on.

If i close CamTwist and start it again, I can select the other one, but then the first one won't work.

Any ideas why its only letting me use on Webcam and not both? I can't switch between the cameras like I used to...

Unfortunately, I don't have a QC9000 to test with but I've heard of that problem before. Generally speaking, MacOS X doesn't like "similar" cams on the same USB bus.

Same problem here too - Logitech camera and Built-in facetime camera are mutually exclusive.

Sorry for the delay, gave this a try this morning - much better, can stream from both cameras (though I noticed that the studio mode dissolve button is pretty broken currently).

Is it relatively easy to backport the camera fix to the stable release or is it the case that this'll have to be part of the 3.0 release ?

The 3.0 code is for MacOS X 7 and better. It *could* be back ported, but I'm so time strapped as it is it's not likely to happen any time soon.

Other than the dissolve button problem, is there something blocking you from using the 3.0 beta?
