They would be added to the Effects folder which is inside the CamTwist folder. I'm not sure what you mean by holographic effect but you may find the Chroma Key instructions to be useful, regardless.

For Quartz Composer effects to appear in the CamTwist effects list, certain conditions have to be met within the composition itself. The page Adding effects with Quartz Composer may be helpful to you in that regard. Additionally, it's necessary to either Refresh Effects List via the File menu or to quit and restart CamTwist before the newly added effects will appear in the effects list.

Be advised that I'm merely an enthusiastic CamTwist user with some rudimentary Quartz Composer experience. The developer may have additional advice about adding effects or comments about the 10.5 folder. As mentioned in this posting, I'm available for conferencing via IM, Skype or private messaging in this forum for more detailed discussion regarding the basic construction of Quartz effects for CamTwist.

Hey I'm working on a ghost effect in composer its looking pretty cool so far ...... thank you for your suggestions I already knew about refresh list and am now working to meet the requirements with my new effect ......the holograph effect I was posting about is the one in leopards photobooth and I chat but my ghost effect should be enough to cure the craving for this effect. Is there a site were users have posted their homemade camtwist effects if not perhaps we should make one hope to talk to you on skype .
