I have been testing CamTwist and have had success using it with:
http://www.NowLive.com
http://www.BlogTV.com
http://www.seesmic.com

Also used it with Mogulus but will need to return to test again. Prior to yesterday I was using FireFox as the browser interface to various video streaming/recording services. I have since switched to using "Flock" http://www.flock.com and so far pleased with how it is working. Still have an occasional issue with the Audio, but this may be operator error. What has happened with other browsers is the microphone is selected but no signal is present. It happened earlier on Flock and like Firefox Quiting Camtwist and Starting again will fix this BUT ... it is not always apparent that audio is not recording until afterwards. For a live show, and using a chat, you will get instant feedback (HEY WE CANNOT HEAR YOU), but in a recorded only use, may disappoint if you have not double checked with a test playback. Again, this could be my mistake.

Last but not something to leave out, I noticed that one of my recorded videos did not trigger an automatic playback when it loaded. I am not sure yet the cause. Assume it is either a Flash player glitch. Having CamTwist between the camera and service (nowlive, seesmic for example), or it is the browser. By scrubbing FWD across the time line , it will eventually grab and begin to play.

I also did a down and dirty test of building a show in the "Effects in Use" pane and saving it as "Save Setup". Worked well for unscripted, unplanned, test of feature demo. Where I lumped a lot in a little time, I realized that I could do 10 - 15 5 min demos for each feature and pane. If interested in this, I am willing to share these as I create them. Just leave a note here.

Really like the product and am thinking of other ways to leverage this software. If times were not so tight I could be generous. But you have my word as soon as a small reversal of fortune lands on my doorstep, I'll send support.

Thanks

Well if it's any help, note that CamTwist doesn't do anything with audio.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're saying there but if you're talking about playing back flash video that has effects in it, you can be pretty sure CamTwist isn't causing the problems.

Where can I see one?

I know what you mean about time being tight. Good luck with that reversal of fortune!

Yeah, I am not sure what conflicts cause the audio glitch. Should have paid more attention today. No problems with audio. If it happens again I will attempt to iso it. I should have been more clear, in my post.

This is a playback problem in Adobe Flash Player. Here too it does not always happen. It is almost as if the Auto load is looking for a Key Frame at the beginning to initiate start. Advancing the play head along the time line usually bump starts the video. Now I have noticed this with other videos today. These video are straight from Cam to Browser. CamTwist is not the issue here.

I sent the link to the quick demo I slapped together a few mins ago.

I was hoping you did not know what I meant ... which would have meant you were RICH!!! Hey... Good luck and good fortune to you. Your product is great and like those that recommended it to me, I too will spread the word.
