I am able to select camtwist as a feed in skype/firefox; however it only shows a black screen. HELP!

Do you have some video and effects loaded? What version of MacOS? Can you double check that you have checked everything on this page.. http://camtwiststudio.com/support/faq/

I was seeing this too. OSX 10.7.2, CamTwist 2.3, Skype 5.1.0.x, but then I upgraded to Skype 5.3.0.x and now the issue is gone.
