iGlasses "broke" CamTwist

Postby ashaneen » Sun Mar 04, 2012 9:26 pm

My apologies if this topic has been covered already, I did do a quick search on iGlasses.

I had CamTwist installed and successfully being used, installed iGlasses to tryout, and uninstalled iGlasses. Now it appears that CamTwist is broken. I'm not getting input from the MacBook Pro built in FaceTime cam, or, even using movies as a source no longer works.

Do you have any know fixes for this - I'm not sure what iGlasses messed with.

Tried reinstalling CamTwist, doing restart. No luck.

MacBook Pro running Lion

If you can't get movies to play, then something is really broken. What do you see when you try to play a movie? What do you see when you try to start the webcam? Does the green light come on?

My apologies, after going through the preferences settings while iGlasses was still installed, I had inadvertently checked "Only load the CamTwist driver in these applications" in CamTwist / Preferences / Video Apps, while that Applications list was blank. So this was my error, switching that to the default setting fixed this. You can delete this post if you want!

Thanks for the prompt reply.
